Silk scarf "Spanish Riding School"
The silk scarf “Spanish Riding School“ is inspired by the “Ballet of the White Stallions”. The world-famous performances by the Lipizzans take place in the baroque Winter Riding School at Hofburg Palace, the most beautiful riding hall in the world. It was built under Emperor Charles VI by the architectural dynasty Fischer von Erlach from 1729 until 1735. The Lipizzan stallions and interior elements of the Winter Riding School can be seen in this scarf design as well as the architects and all emperors, who made a contribution to this historic institution.
